It is believed that the name of the wife of Grand Duke Gediminas of the GDL was Jaunė. It is more likely that Jaunė was the second wife of Gediminas, who gave birth to and raised 14 children (8 sons and 6 daughters), most of whom became historical figures. She moved with Gediminas to Trakai in ~1316 and lived with her son Kęstutis' family in Trakai until her death in 1344.
